UCHENNA OJEMBE
Principal Counsel
Uchenna Ojembe, Esq., LL.M, is the Principal Partner and Counsel at UOALC, and a leading Legal Practitioner in Corporate Governance and Real Estate in Nigeria. He leads the Firm’s Corporate and Commercial Law Departments and has managed listings on the Nigerian Securities Exchange for various companies. Uchenna is an expert in high-level Dispute Resolution, Real Estate and Debt Recovery; and has recovered over 1.5 billion for Clients. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Abuja and an LL.M in Corporate Governance and Finance Law from the University of Nasarawa, and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
OBINNA MADU
Senior Associate
Obinna Madu, Esq. specializes in Criminal Prosecution, Commercial Dispute Resolution, and Arbitration. He has participated in several landmark cases in Banking, Contract, Real Estate, Tort, and Constitutional Law. He also engages in specialized areas such as Energy, Expropriated Properties, Utilities Law, Employee Benefits, and Aviation. His expertise is further enhanced by his involvement in extensive global training, attending conferences and various international legal forums. Obinna holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Abuja and is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
ANTHONY IKUBUWAJE
Senior Associate
Anthony Ikubuwaje, Esq. heads the Firm’s practice in Energy, Oil & Gas, Mining, and Infrastructure; and is an established practitioner in the Power sector. He is retained as a Legal Advisor by two oil companies licensed for exploration and production in Nigeria and has acted as Counsel for a high-level feasibility study into constructing an oil pipeline. His deep expertise in the Energy sector is complemented by his active participation in shaping industry regulations and practices. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Abuja and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
MARY EDEM
Associate Counsel
Mary Edem, Esq. practices with the Firm’s Banking and Finance, Corporate and Commercial Law and Tax departments. She is often mandated to advise on Banks’ lending arrangements and other forms of specialized finance, as well as compliance with the Banking and Financial services regulatory regime in Nigeria. Mary advises borrowers from the public and private sector and non-bank lenders such as sector-specific financiers, investment houses and private equity funds that have direct and indirect interests in lending arrangements.
ELIZABETH EMMANUEL
Administrative Officer
Elizabeth Emmanuel’s practice focuses on projects, infrastructure and administrative advisory. She manages daily projects and activities of the firm accompanied with a wide versatility in fast-paced accounting operations, supervising firm expenditures, and information management while ensuring the smooth running of the firm. Elizabeth is experienced with communicating with clients effectively, supervising and collaborating with members, monitoring budgets and expenses of the Firm, and also acting as a liaison between departments.

Associate Counsel
Clinton Egoh, Esq. specializes in energy, natural resources and oil & gas. His work involves a broad range of corporate & commercial advisory services in oil and gas contracting, focusing on negotiating and structuring energy and oil and gas agreements, advising on contractual risk management, amongst various contracting parties, acquisition and disposal of upstream oil and gas interests, dispute resolution and management, renewable energy, and advising on legal and regulatory compliance on all energy related transactions.
